Role Overview

The Vice President of Sales will play a central role in driving Tooli Logistics' growth by leading all aspects of the sales function. From creating strategies that target key market opportunities to building a motivated sales team, this role requires a proven leader who thrives in challenging environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales processes, a strong network in the logistics or related industries, and the ability to leverage AI tools to optimize outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s revenue goals and market expansion plans.
  • Market Penetration: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, establishing Tooli Logistics as the provider of choice in last-mile delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing sales team. Foster a results-driven culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, driving long-term revenue opportunities and customer retention.
  • Sales Operations: Design and optimize sales processes, leveraging AI tools and analytics to enhance team performance and decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to ensure cohesive strategies and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Establish clear metrics and benchmarks to track sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive sustained growth through strategic deal-making and direct involvement in closing major accounts.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Leadership: Minimum 8 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or related industries.
  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of last-mile delivery, logistics, or adjacent markets.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Maker: Expertise in using analytics and AI-driven tools to inform sales strategies and optimize outcomes.
  • Exceptional Relationship Builder: Track record of establishing and growing relationships with high-value clients and industry partners.
  • Inspirational Leader: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop top-tier sales talent.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually
  • Performance Bonuses: Up to $50,000 annually based on achieving sales targets
  • Additional Earnings: Commission on personally closed deals
